So this time next week it will be May, and I have always thought of the month as the start of summer (despite the ridiculously awful weather), so in celebration of this, I bring you a top summer fragrance.
Inspired by the perfumer’s own garden, Lily Fandango is completely different from the white flower fragrances I normally go for – it is a fresh and zesty scent with citrus as the initial dominant note. This is definitely a perfume for the warmer months – when first sprayed it smells strongly of grapefruit, but it settles into a soft mix of fruit with traces of jasmine and white lilies, which smell fresh and clean rather than powdery. Presented in a super cute pink and white striped box this would make an adorable present – I know it’s Mother’s Day in the US soon (just a thought), and you can get a whole range of body products to match from the Cath Collins website – the shower gel and bath elixir would be heavenly! So if you’re looking for an easy choice for a summer fragrance – give Lily Fandango a whirl.
Lily Fandango is priced at £35.50
