Regular readers of LuxeList will know I have been a fan of these slippers for quite a while.
The beautiful embroidery coupled with the smoking slipper shape was just divine, and I am in love with the bees.
When I was down in London, I noticed that they had gone on sale at Net-a-Porter, and it was purely the annoyance of using my iPad on the site which prevented their purchase.
So imagine my surprise when I got an email regarding further reductions, and these were down to 70% off! I didn’t expect much – usually my size flies out of sales, but sure enough – there was one size left, and it was mine! I logged in as fast as I could, and applied my store credit which I had been waiting to use. This brought the price down even further, I’m not going to lie, I am ridiculously proud of how little I paid for these. Originally they were £450, a little over my comfort level for occasional shoes, and I got them for £85 – this discount has brightened up my whole week, and they even arrived within 24 hours of my order. They are even better than I was expecting – goatskin suede background with the sparkliest little bees imaginable, and the insoles are gold (not to mention all squishy-comfy!) so it just proves that a little investigation can save you an absolute fortune!
Unfortunately they are now sold out on Net-a-Porter’s UK site, but I have found them on NeimanMarcus.com for $770.00.
