I feel awful about how long it’s been since I last posted, but I was in New York, and just had no time at all to sit down and edit photos, write etc, so I thought I would do a little recap.
I’m in New York on a semi-regular basis, and it’s undoubtedly my favourite city in the world – it is stunningly beautiful, there are a million and one things to do, and the people are ridiculously friendly. When I’m there, I don’t tend to do anything ridiculously exciting, but it’s just so wonderful to be able to walk around, enjoy the scenery and pop into whichever museums and galleries take my fancy.
Apart from a couple of thunderstorms, the weather was perfect – hot and dry, with endless blue skies. This meant endless strolls up Madison, down Fifth just relaxing. When we were outside the Guggenheim, we noticed the apartment building in the picture – the apartment with the large glass window has a slide between floors – ridiculously fun!
