I do love a good face mask, and my newest is Voya’s Get Glowing, an illuminating clay mask which is over 70% organic and contains hand harvested seaweed.
I like seaweed, I like it in sushi, I like it on its own, and I love it in this mask – a clay based product which feels light and cooling when applied. At first all I can smell is eucalyptus and rosemary, and as the mask dries down, the lavender and rosemary oils intermingle with the scent of clay and seaweed, it’s spa-worthy stuff. The mask itself is unlike any of my other clay-based offerings; it’s lighter, doesn’t sting when applied and doesn’t dry down to a tight feeling. Instead, it becomes almost clear, so it’s perfect if you run the risk of answering the door mid-treatment. Although the company recommend leaving the mask on for around 10 minutes, I should be honest and say I usually leave it on for closer to 30, and after I wash this off my skin looks fresh and healthy, and I am reaching for this once or twice a week to maintain my clear skin and so I can sport a healthy glow.
The mask costs €38.00 and is available at www.voya.ie
