Packaged in a dinky little green metal tube, you can squeeze out as much of the moisturizing balm as you need, and it’s usually not a lot. The treatment is super thick and moisturizing, and is designed to be used on dry skin. Chapped lips, dry cuticles and the like stand no chance in the face of Skin Food.
The formula has been around since 1926, and I can’t believe I haven’t tried it until now. The smell is beautifully fresh – sweet orange oil means that applying the balm is refreshing, and despite the thick texture, it sinks in easily. This is such a god-send of a product for me going into Fall and Winter because my skin gets super dry, and there is absolutely no irritation when I use it, even on my face.
Skin Food is priced at £8.95 and is available at www.weleda.co.uk and here for US readers
