I didn’t mean to have two hair-related posts bunched together, but oh well. This treatment oil is really too good not to write about.
Whenever I hit the US, I make multiple trips to Drybar (mostly the one on the Upper East Side) and they are the most gorgeous way to spend an hour in the city – you come out looking great and feeling super relaxed and glamorous so it’s really a win-win. You can read my post about the salon here.
As well as giving the best glossy blow outs, the salon also have a great line of products and tools. Today I can share my obsession with the 100 Proof. I grabbed this on one of my (many) Sephora hauls, as I hadn’t packed my regular Kerestase oils, and my ends get super dry after flying. I should probably state now, that this isn’t like any other hair oil I’ve used. It’s far more like a serum, and to be honest, I use it now as a finishing product, rather than as a treatment.
After blow drying (and a little straightening) I use one pumps over the ends of my hair. It immediately smoothes any flyaways, and creates the best shine. Perhaps my favourite part about this clever little bottle is the way my hair feels after I use it. It makes hair ridiculously soft – any damage seems to just disappear, and it lasts until my next wash. I should also mention the scent – it’s like nothing else I have and it leaves a delicate trace on your hair all day!
If you’re on the lookout for a new member of your hair regime, give 100 Proof Treatment Oil a shot!
The Oil costs $35 and is available from Sephora.com
