The Age Peel Treatment is perfect if you’re looking to freshen up your complexion – central heating and crazy weather wreaks havoc on my skin, so it’s nice to have something which I can fall back on. The treatment comes in a box with 2 parts – wipes and an exfoliating gel.
First up, after cleansing, use one of the enzyme infused wipes all over your face, neck and décolletage. I should warn this part verges on the unpleasant. It stings. You know it’s working, and I leave it on for about 2-3 minutes.
Once the tingling and singing has subsided, I apply a generous layer of the hydroxy gel all over my face. Again, this is a product you feel working. You leave it on for a good five minutes then wash off with a clean flannel. This is a treatment that rivals salons. Despite the slight discomfort – the results are incredible enough that I go back for more. Fine lines are visibly reduced, and skin looks and feels wondrously soft and clear. I’m not the only fan – I have had to wrestle this from the palms of family members who have also fallen under the Filorga spell!
The kit encompasses 5 wipes and a tube of gel, so it is a little expensive, but considering how much comparable spa treatments cost, it’s an absolute bargain! The kit costs £56.00 and is available from Marks and Spencer
