Interning has a lot of upsides – the experience is incredible, the people are ridiculously nice, handling objects of art is a complete thrill, but wearing a full face of makeup five days a week can be tough on my skin, add dust to the equation, and by the time I get home, I’m practically clawing at my face.
In efforts to feel clean at the day’s end, I’ve been turning to Soap and Glory’s Scrubatomic. Cute name aside, this is one awesome scrub. It smells of peaches and the texture is perfect for regular use. Unlike other scrubs I’ve tried, this doesn’t have identifiable particles, but instead it’s just pleasingly gritty. Ok, I’m not really selling this, but it’s all kinds of great!
Since it’s quite a thick formula, you only need about a pea-sized amount per application, and since the tube it comes in is very generously sized, I figure I’ll be reaching for Scrubatomic for a while. It also makes it even better value, since one of the giant tubes (it’s 100ml) only costs £9.00.
Scrubatomic is available from Boots.
