It’s not news that I like a nude lipstick – approximately 95% of the lipsticks I own are varying shades of beige, and my new Giorgio Armani offering is no different.
D’Armani Sheer lipsticks are designed to be a lighter alternative to regular lippies – think balm-like hydration and a glossy finish. Just perfect for moving into lighter Spring makeup!
Packaged in a sleek, black tube, with silver GA detailing, this really looks and feels like a luxury purchase. Once you get inside, the lipstick itself if engraved with the GA logo, and it is beautifully shaped for easy application on the go.
In the tube, the lipstick looks like a warm rosy-brown (even though it’s photographing as weirdly orange), but when it’s swatched you can see how gorgeous it is. On the lips it’s the most gorgeous nude pink. A ‘your lips but better’ kind of a colour. When it’s on, the lipstick feels super lightweight, and it has the most perfect glossy finish. Since the formula is so sheer, it doesn’t have the longest wear-time in the world – about an hour or so, but for such a perfect colour and formula, I don’t mind a couple of touchups!
The lipstick is priced at £ 25.00 and I got mine at Harvey Nichols. US readers can find it here.
