Lucas Paw Paw Ointment is one of those few products which has reached cult status. Every time magazines interview Australians it always seems to be the product they rave about. So of course, I had to test it for myself!
I was surprised at how big the red tube is. I was expecting something the same size as a Kiehl’s lipbalm, but this is huge! In a single tube, you get 25g of the ointment, and since I only use a teeny tiny bit per application, this is going to last a while!
The uses for this balm are endless; personally, I’ve mostly been using it on my lips and cuticles which get really horribly dry this time of year. The balm is soft and it feels cooling when applied. It has a super light scent which is a kind of vanilla, but there is no taste at all. A quick swipe and I’m left with lips which feel at least 100% better than before. The balm also heals rather than just giving a layer of moisture – cuts and burns that I’ve clumsily acquired heal so much faster than usual when I apply this to them. As you can tell, I’ve become a complete convert to Paw Paw!
On a slightly unrelated note, how awesome is the stamp which was on my parcel?! I have no idea what that little bundle of fun is, but I would very much like one!
