Every so often a beauty product comes along that’s almost too pretty to use. Clarins’ new Face & Blush powder is definitely one of them. Seriously, pictures do not do justice to this compact.
Rather than their usual (and very fetching) gold compact cases, the powder comes nestled in this little gem.
In real life it’s a silvery, purple/green hologram-type contraption which is just begging to be displayed. It really isn’t like anything else I have.
Once you get inside this beauty, you are faced with the most adorable powders. Little dots of blusher and bronzer are nestled into Clarins’ face powder.
There is even a little flutter of golden powder dusting the surface.
Honestly, I don’t think you could use the blush and bronzer individually, but when I’ve used the powder with a large fluffy powder brush it just gives a beautiful healthy glow – much needed for my skin which hasn’t seen the sun in a while.
Thankfully, as long as you use the powder with a light hand, the pattern remains intact, and as you can tell, I’m beyond obsessed with this thing!
