James Read Bronzing Spray Clear*

James Read Bronzing Spray

Naturally, I’m pretty pale, and living in the UK doesn’t help. Since the weather is picking up slightly, and I’ve had a couple of events and meetings, I’ve been wanting to have a little colour. Nothing drastic though. I have to admit, I’m not a fan of looking too tan – I don’t suit being too dark. So in an effort to look nice and healthy, I reached for James Read Bronzing Spray Clear.

When I’m in the shower I give everything a good exfoliation, and then I moisturize the fake-tan red zones of my knees, ankles and elbows. Once everything is all rubbed in, I apply a light layer of tan. Where James Read is head and shoulders above other fake tans I’ve tried is the fact that it’s a spray. This means I don’t need to bother with mitts, or worry about orange palms! It’s completely genius! The spray feels very light, and there is hardly any scent at all. The spray comes out perfectly evenly, and it means I can easily cover my back without having to resort to weird-yoga style poses. The tan develops beautifully – it dries evenly, and gives the most perfect wash of colour!

The spray costs £24.50 and is available here.
