As part of Kiko’s Summer Life in Rio Collection, they have released a gorgeous, limited edition version of their Sunproof Powder Foundation.
The compacts can be used wet or dry, and the formula is gorgeously silky smooth. These are perfect for people who have oily skin, or fancy a little coverage for the summer. The foundation has SPF 15, which means if you’re out and about in the sun, you don’t need to worry about applying sunblock under your makeup.

The foundation comes in three shades I have Light and Medium (Natural sits somewhere between the two) and they are perfect for adding a little warmth to my complexion. To apply the foundation I use a slightly dampened sponge (there’s a good latex one in a hidden compartment in the compact), and it smooths on beautifully.
The powder manages to nix any shine without looking heavy or cakey, and it looks completely natural when applied.
The packaging of the foundation is a complete winner too! The rose gold outer is so pretty, and I love the feather motif on the lid – it’s just so summery! Once you’ve opened the foundation, there is a great sized mirror, and there is a lower compartment which holds the sponge. This is definitely one of those products you can pop in your makeup bag without worrying, and it is completely perfect for travel!
