It’s Father’s Day next weekend, and if you’re anything like me, buying for anyone male always makes me break out in a cold sweat. Buying for girls is easy – spa treatment, expensive candle, a good coffee table book or a silk Hermes number and you’re good to go. For guys however, I’m always stuck. What on earth do they read about? History seems too stuffy and politics too divisive. All the men I know work too hard to be able to take a day off and luxuriate in a spa, and ties just seem so cliched. Molton Brown however are making it so easy to score a home run when it comes to making up a gift basket which will make even the pickiest ooh and ahh like a girl!
A must have for any goodie bag is the 4-in-1 Sportwash, a rather slick tube which works as a body wash, face wash, shampoo and shaving foam. It’s the perfect thing for the gym, or guys who like to freshen up at work. I had a quick go with it (for review purposes you understand) and it’s pretty awesome. I love the fresh, clean scent which has notes of lime and nutmeg, and it feels luxuriously rich, foaming beautifully. I can’t comment on its use as a face wash or shampoo, but I adore it in the shower.
