I know that this is a few days late, but I couldn’t help but share the awesomeness that was May’s Glossybox! To celebrate Superdrug’s 50th birthday, the box went all-out with some of the store’s bestsellers.
This is definitely one of the biggest beauty boxes I’ve come across – 5 full size products, two samples and a magazine – not bad for £10!
The two samples were Garnier’s Oil Beauty moisturizer and Ghost Eclipse perfume. I loved the feel of the moisturizer, although I wasn’t too keen on the scent – it was quite like Moroccan Oil, so if that’s your thing, you’ll love it! The perfume has a nice warm, summery scent.
Next up is Scholl’s Velvet Smooth Night Mask – a perfect little tube for getting summer-ready feet. After sloughing off dead skin with a file, I cover my feet in the lotion, pop on a pair of cotton socks and go to bed. I then wake up with silky smooth tootsies – I’m obsessed!
Next up is one of Superdrug’s best selling mascaras – Rimmel Scandaleyes.
A beautifully black formula, with a super-expensive feeling brush. The mascara left my lashes inky, full and long.
Since I highlight and straighten my hair, I’m always interested in trying new conditioners. Schwartzkopf’s Essence Ultime Crystal Shine conditioner contains liquidized crystals to keep hair super shiny. I’ve not had a chance to try it yet, but it smells incredible!
B. Sheer’s Conditioning Lipstick in Petal is a gorgeous, full size lipstick which is a gorgeous summer-perfect nude. It gives a lovely amount of sheen, and feels like a balm when applied. I’ve heard such great things about B. cosmetics, so it’s great to be able to try the range.
Last, but certainly not least is Max Factor’s Face Finity Primer. Containing micro-correctors which work to keep your makeup perfect, a pump of the primer keeps my foundation perfect looking all day, and makes my skin feel super smooth – I’m such a convert!
This was my first Glossybox, and I’m such a convert! I can’t wait to see what their next boxes contain! You can order them for £10 here.
