I absolutely love it when beauty boxes plop through the letterbox. I love getting a beautifully wrapped box of surprises.
I do think that Glossybox might just be the prettiest box of goodies in the world – they come all snuggled in a box, in tissue, wrapped up in a ribbon – divine!
This month’s theme is Jet-Set – meaning that the goodies inside are perfect for popping in your hold on if you’re off somewhere exotic, and it doesn’t disappoint!
I don’t think I’ve ever gone to the pool or beach without mascara. I envy those girls who don’t need a lick of makeup waterside, but I always need a little eyelash help. L’Oreal’s Volume Million Lashes is a fab choice.
The brush has delicate plastic bristles, and it works well to separate my lashes. It’s a great inky black colour, and it stayed smudge proof throughout a gym session!
To keep nails looking tip top, is a full size bottle of Nail Girls 3-in-1 Base, Strengthener and Topcoat. I’m giving myself a mini-mani tonight, so I’m going to give it a try!
So Susan have contributed a fab little concealer quad.
The three shades of concealer, plus illuminizer means you can mix up your perfect shade, even if you’re planning on getting a tan this summer! Since I’m pretty fair, I think I will use the darker shades as a sort of cream eyeshadow or contour. The formula is a little thicker than my usual concealers, so I think this will be perfect for covering any breakouts.
The mini Rituals Body Spray smells amazing – it’s so clean and smells a little of baby powder.
Since you can also use it as a deodorant, I’ve popped this straight into my gym bag!
I think my favorite piece in the box is this teeez Beautiful flat stiff brush which is perfect for applying eyeshadows. The bristles are all 100% natural hair, and it’s perfect for applying my trusty Tom Ford eye shadow cream (I reviewed it all the way back here.)
Glossybox subscriptions cost £10 +PP although they get cheaper if you subscribe. You can sign up here.
