I was having an off day a couple of weeks ago, when I stumbled upon Neom’s Happiness Candle in the aisles of Whole Foods. Seriously, if there is a store near you, tear yourself away from the green juices and sushi counter and explore the beauty section – it’s pretty incredible!
So, like I said, my day had been less than stellar, so a Happiness Candle sounded like a perfect choice. I opted for the little travel candle since I’d never tried Neom before, and I completely fell in love with the scent.
It’s a perfect summer fragrance – white neroli mingles with mimosa and lemon, creating a fresh, clean scent which completely fills whatever room I’m burning it in. It definitely creates a sense of contentment, and it’s also a blast from the past for me. When I lived in Dubai, my apartment was in a gorgeous hotel (The Address, Dubai Marina if you’re looking for a place to stay – I would definitely recommend it!), and they would burn these candles at the spa entrance and the whole lobby and gym area was scented with this fragrance. It was glorious, and whenever I came in from the heat, I would breathe a sigh of relief and know I was home.
The Happiness Travel candle costs £15.00 – here
My friend makes and sells had own hand poured soy wax candles. I did a post for her here if you wanted to check it out 🙂
