It really is all about eyes in Clarins’ 2014 collection. As if the gorgeous quad (read about it here) wasn’t enough, the new Instant Light Eye Perfecting Base is a complete godsend if you wear eyeshadow as often as I do.
Packaged in an easy to use squeeze tube with a nozzle applicator, you just need the tiniest dot on each lid. I pat it onto my lids using my ring finger and let it set for couple of seconds before applying my chosen shadows.
As part of the Instant Light range (see my thoughts on the base here) it’s designed to create a luminous base. The formula has quite a thick, almost foundation like consistency, and it neutralizes any redness or discoloration around my eyes as well as brightening the whole area. The primer also contains Instant Light’s 3D pigments which boost the radiance of the skin, so it makes such a difference to my make up. Once I apply my shadow, the colour looks fresh all day, no matter what situations I get myself into!
The primer will be released this month, and will cost £22. US readers can find it here
