As if the swoon worthy Skintones Eyeshadow Palette wasn’t enough (you can read my review here), Clarins are releasing a whole new line of eyeshadows as part of their Autumn 2014 collection. The Ombre Matte Cream to Powder eyeshadows are a move away from regular palette shadows, and instead are pots filled with the most gorgeous natural tones.
Packaged in the most glamorous of gold-lidded pots, the formulas are a complete dream to work with. The shadows themselves feel like velvet to apply, and the soft texture completely melts into the skin.
02 Nude Pink is a beautiful peachy-toned nude shade. I apply it over my entire lid with my finger, and it completely melts into the skin. It’s a beautiful base shade, and it has a great brightening effect when worn alone.
04 Rosewood is a cool taupe which I’m all kinds of obsessed with. For day, it’s perfect when smudged into the lash line, and the colour is easy to build when I want a slightly more dramatic look.
Like all of Clarins Autumn 2014 collection, the Ombre Matte Cream to Powder shadows are perfect neutrals, which contain no shimmer or sparkle. Instead, they work to emphasize your own natural beauty, and they are just the most swoon worthy shades. The collection is all ready selling out across the pond, so keep you’re eye on the Clarins website as it should be available super soon!
In the US they are available here.
