As you can probably tell, I’m very much in love with summer right now. I’ve abandoned my usual dark neutral wardrobe in favor of crisp whites and pops of colour, and of course, my beauty picks have changed up too!
So, rather than plumping for my regular baby pinks and beiges, my mani this week featured the most gorgeous coral shade, courtesy of Liz Earle’s Strengthening Nail Colour in Awakening. It’s a beautiful orange-tinged peachy colour which is gorgeous on tanned fingers, and makes much more of a statement than my regular nudes, without feeling too bright or in your face. Unlike most other polishes, Lis Earle’s contain avocado and borage oils which work to strengthen your nails as you wear the colour.
The formula is a little thinner than I’m used to, but it only took two coats for an even, opaque, glossy finish which I then topped with my Chanel top coat (see here). I’ve had multiple girls coming up to me asking where my polish is from, and it’s lasted perfectly for the past 3 days (an age for me)!
The polish costs £7.50 and is available here.
