Over the past couple of years I’ve tried BB creams and CC creams, and now Estee Lauder are jumping straight to EE Cream with their new Enlighten Even Effect Skintone Corrector.
I’m not going to lie, this has become somewhat of a Holy Grail item for me. Over the past few months I’ve made a definite effort to decrease the amount of makeup I wear on a regular basis. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t wear a tone, but right now, a fresh-faced look just feels right. That’s where the EE Cream comes in. After moisturizing well, I rub a little of the cream into my face using my fingertips. It sinks in effortlessly, and it tones down redness, leaving my skin looking even and natural. It comes in 3 shades, with mine, the fairest is Light.
If you’re looking for slightly more coverage, the EE Cream can be used under your regular foundation (or you should totally check out Estee Lauder’s newest Perfectionist offering) and as well as making your skin look flawless, it has SPF 30, meaning your protected from outside pollutants as well as from UV rays. There isn’t much that the wonder-cream doesn’t do! After applying a small amount, I put on my concealer and Touch Eclat (read my review here) and swipe a little bronzer for a finishing touch.
The EE Cream wears beautifully during the day – when applied it gives a natural looking glow, and I only had to touch up my concealer 3-4 hours after leaving the house.
The cream will be launched in October – will you be trying it?
