Clarins Blue Orchid Treatment Oil

I’m back! I don’t think I’ve ever been quite so happy to see a UPS truck as this morning when it trundled up the drive. Boxes were torn open, and I am finally re-connected to the world! It’s a little embarrassing how happy I was to have a computer again! It’s been a rather long and boring 3+ weeks. But anyway; I have lots and lots of lovely goodies to share, so I better get started!

Clarins Blue Orchid Treatment Oil

Over the past couple of weeks, the British weather has taken a turn for the worse. The leaves are golden, and the wind is getting a rather sharp chill. Since my skin is sensitive in the best of conditions, the drop in temperatures, is normally followed by dry skin for me.

Clarins Blue Orchid Treatment Oil

To combat any weather-wounds, every night I’ve been applying a couple of generous drops of Clarins’ Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil. It’s one of the brand’s iconic products for a reason! It’s comprised of 100% pure plant extracts which are all carefully chosen to benefit your skin. Rosewood is selected for its antibacterial and soothing properties, patchouli helps with anti-inflammatory and Blue Orchid tones skin.

After cleansing, I apply a few drops of the oil, and press it into my skin using my fingertips. It feels super luxurious and rich, and just sinks into my skin. I adore the floral fragrance, and it’s a wonderful little spa-like escape for my evenings. Since I only use a tiny amount every night, I can see this bottle easily lasting the whole winter – and thank goodness! The oil leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished, and once I wake up in the morning it also has a great healthy ‘glow.’ Even if you suffer from very dry or oily skin, Clarins have you covered, as you can choose from formulas which are specifically formulated for very dry or oily skin!

The oil costs £32.00 and is available here.
