A couple of weeks ago I was killing time in Glasgow and stumbled across a Chanel makeup counter. Like most, I could spend days swatting colours and oohing and ahhing over all of their goodies, but I just had to pick up a couple of pieces from the Autumn/Winter 2014 collection
I figured I was due a new Chanel lipstick as I had just managed to smash a much-loved lipgloss in my bathroom (seriously, I’m such a hazard when it comes to marble! I’ve even lost a pot of Creme de la Mer in there!) so I was intrigued by one of the newest shades – Intime. In the tube it looks quite dark, but like all of the Rouge Coco Shine formulas, it feels light and glossy when applied, almost like a balm.
The shade is a perfect dusty rose, with a slight mauve undercurrent. I love it for an easy nude lip, and it gives a perfect wash of sheer colour. The wear-time isn’t the greatest, maybe an hour or two, but it’s super easy to reapply and it feels so hydrating to use, I don’t even mind!
The lipstick costs £25.00 and I got mine at Debenhams
