So last week officially marked the start of my Christmas shopping. I spent hours perusing the stores, and I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve popped online to find things which are a bit different or unusual. As much as I love gift buying, it can get super difficult. I think I find guys the hardest to shop for; the whole not needing or wanting anything particular means I never really know what to head for.
Thankfully, Ermenegildo Zegna has made buying mens’ gifts incredibly easy with their newest release – Peruvian Ambrette. Released in September this year, Peruvian Ambrette is an incredibly complex scent, and it is just delicious!
Packaged in a chunky glass bottle, I love how understated and masculine it looks.
Peruvian Ambrette feels completely different from other fragrances I’ve sniffed. The scent focuses on plant-based musks which have been derived from hibiscus beans. Sometimes musks can feel a little overpowering, but this just smells like the perfect winter fragrance. The way that musk has been blended with cashmere makes it feel so warm and comforting, and although it’s marketed as a men’s fragrance, if you’re in the mood for deep, sensual scent, you have to check it out!
The EDT costs £140.00 and is available here.
I agree.
