Aveda’s Enbrightenment range is an incredible one to look into if you feel your skin needs a bit of perking up. On a weekly basis, I’ve been using Aveda’s Enbrightenment Masque (you can read about it here), and to keep up with the good results, I’ve also been using the Enbrightenment Correcting Lotion.
Packaged in an easy to use pump bottle, I only need a pump or two in the morning and in the night to smooth over my face and neck. The lotion has a beautifully light texture which sinks immediately into skin and I just adore the gentle lavender scent. The formula is a great way to protect skin from external irritants and pollution, so if you live in a city, it’s a great option for keeping your skin clear. Not only this, but the Rosemary and Vitamin E in the lotion work together to provide protection whilst Shea Butter helps to provide moisture. I’m quite lucky in the fact that my skin tone is pretty even, but the lotion also helps to fade any discolouration or dark spots you might be battling. Since I’ve been using the lotion, I feel like my skin has brightened up, and I don’t really need as much makeup as I did previously.
The lotion costs £45.00 and is available here.
