As a rule, I like to keep my skincare routine simple. I cleanse, I tone and I moisturise, and then a couple of times a week I slap on a face mask to keep everything nice and clear. I feel like it’s some sort of blogger confession to admit I’ve never tried a product designed to brighten skin before Racinne’s Ultimate Aqua Blanc Brightening Masque popped through the door. Since Raccine hails from Korea, land of the incredible skin regimes, I was intrigued. The Masque is designed to refresh the complexion, tighten pores, add moisture and work to remove hyper pigmentation in the skin, so you could say it’s something of a multitasker!
The Masque comes in a rather pretty white pearlised squeeze tube, so it’s incredibly easy to use. After cleansing, I applied a generous layer of the Masque over my face, neck and décolletage. The formula feels heavenly to apply – it’s very calming and cooling with a light, gel like formula. The scent is just gorgeous too, it’s a very light floral, which feels like a mini facial when applied. I then left it to sink in for 15 minutes, which meant my skin sucked up about 99% of what I applied. I then used a damp flannel to remove any excess masque, and followed with a nourishing moisturiser. I have to say, my skin felt incredible – it was cold to the touch and super, super smooth. It’s been quite dry lately, and Raccine’s Masque completely eradicated all my little dry patches. I’m not sure my skin ever felt better, facials included! I only needed a quick slick of base and dusting of bronzer and I was good to go.
I am absolutely loving the results I’ve had with the masque, and you can find it here for £29.00
