It’s that time of the month again – the newest Glossybox is out! And you’ll be glad to hear – it’s a good one!
As always, the packaging of the Glossybox never fails to please. From the lovely pink boxes to the hand-tied black ribbons, the boxes feel like such a treat, and I’m always rather excited to see what’s inside.
This month’s theme is Step into Spring, and it’s a fab mix of skincare, makeup and haircare – perfect for the changing seasons!
First up, is a Dove Advanced Hair Series duo which is designed for ageing hair. Thankfully, that’s not a problem I suffer from, but I did just get highlights last week, so I’m in major hair maintenance at the moment! The fact that you get both the shampoo and the conditioner is fab, since it really lets you see if it works for you, and the 50ml sizes are pretty generous. These are going straight into my gym shower bag to get tried out tomorrow!
Next up is a rather snazzy looking Sleek Pout Paint which is a beautiful bright purple.
The formula is gorgeously smooth, and the colour is easy to build. For a subtle hint of colour, I dabbed a little on after some lip balm, and it was a really change from my usual rosy-nude lips.
I think the Naobay Moisturizing Peeling was the product I was most excited about. It’s designed to brighten skin, and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I used this last night, and I loved the little grainy exfoliators; my skin has been a little dry and chapped recently, so this took care of that!
I’ve never tried the Essence brand before, so their Lash Princess mascara seems like a good place to start. The packaging is super cute, and reminds me of something from Bourgouis or Benefit.
The brush has a wave-shaped curve to catch every lash, and the formula is super-black – I can’t wait to try it!
Last, but not least, is NCLA’s stunning polish in I Only Fly Private. It’s a gorgeous peachy-orange shade which feels so pretty for Spring and Summer!
I’ve been wanting to try the brand for a while, so to get a full sized polish is such a treat! The formula of the polish was great – I only needed two coats for the swatches, and it was self levelling and completely opaque. I don’t have a colour like this in my stash, and I can definitely see myself reaching for this once the weather perks up!
Glossybox costs £10 (+P&P) and is available here.
