Clarins Waterproof Eye Liner Pencil*

So we’re slap bang in the middle of new summer makeup collections, and I couldn’t be happier. There’s nothing quite so fun as swooning over the limited edition packaging and new colours. Clarins have been a bit different and included their already available Black Waterproof Eye Liner Pencil as part of their Aquatic Treasures collection.

I get the understanding behind it – I know I’ve been guilty of slicking a bit of eyeliner and bronzer on before hitting the pool, so the fact that it’s waterproof makes perfect sense. It’s also kind of nice that you can get a little bit of the collection before it’s official launch next month!

Clarins Waterproof Eye Liner Pencil is beautifully chic with a black and gold exterior which isn’t going to be an embarrassment to pull out of your makeup bag. The formula has great coverage – all I use is a quick swipe in my upper lash line, and I’m left with perfectly creamy, black definition. I love how ‘black’ the formula is, and the fact that it’s waterproof means I don’t have to worry about it smudging throughout the day. Even though the eyeliner stays put perfectly during the day, it’s easily removed with a pad soaked in eye makeup remover (my choice is Clinique’s Take the Day Off).
