So I don’t think it’s an understatement to say I love perfumes. I don’t think there are too many things nicer than knowing you smell good – and it’s something I always notice about other people too! I always like to match my fragrance to my mood and the occasion I’m attending, so it’s always fun to try something that seems so unfamiliar.
Le Soft Perfume is different from my usual fragrance offerings, as all of their scents come in a solid form. The sticks feel like a very chunky lip balm, and to apply, it’s as easy as just slicking it on where you need it! Before I even got a whiff of the scent, I absolutely fell in love with the whimsical packaging. The perfume sticks are scattered with the most adorable little flowers, whilst the box has the most darling animal illustrations on it!
Le Soft Perfume is a great option if typical fragrances don’t tend to work for you. The formulations contain no alcohol or parabens, and instead have shea butter, tiara, mango butter and tamanu oil which actively nourish skin, leaving it feeling healthy and moisturised.
My scent, Zazou, is described as evoking ‘the crispness of freshly washed linen’ and it’s a perfect option if you want your scent to feel fresh and clean, rather than too perfume-y. I applied the stick to my inner elbows, wrists and behind my ears, and I loved how throughout the day I got wafts of the neroli and lemon. I didn’t find it to have the greatest lasting power on me, but application was an absolute breeze, as it’s so easy just to slick on the fragrance where you need it! It’s also incredibly portable – the solid base means I haven’t had to worry about shattering a bottle of something when I throw my bag around, plus the cardboard tube it comes in keeps everything perfectly neat and tidy.
Le Soft Perfume in Zazou is priced at £20 and is available here.
