Monday mornings are never easy, so I thought I would share one of my new favourite finds – Maybelline’s Color Show Rebel Bouquet Nail Varnish. Described as a ‘matte glitter topcoat with a bouquet of glitters inside’ it can be used as a topcoat to add a bit of personality to Maybelline’s spring collection.
I didn’t think I would love this polish as much as I do! Although it’s described as having a clear base, there is definitely a hint of pink to it, and suspended in the varnish are multi sized glitter with a pink and white palette. I just love this – it’s just so pretty and feminine, and it almost looks as if all the gorgeous cherry blossom is on your fingers. I tend to reach for glitter topcoats when I’ve chipped a nail but want to extend my manicure. More recently though, I love the look of Rebel Bouquet on bare nails. The glitter is subtle enough to be day and work appropriate, and the slight pink tint makes nails look healthy and tidy. The varnish doesn’t try to the shiniest of finishes though, so I do use a clear topcoat just to give it a little gloss.
Maybelline’s Color Show Rebel Bouquet Nail Polish is priced at £3.99 and is available here.
Going out of the house, this very minute to buy this nail paint! It looks SO good!
