This weekend marks the start of T in the Park in it’s new Perthshire location, and if you’re not familiar with the event, it’s the biggest music festival in Scotland. I’ve gone a couple of times in the past, and I have amazing, if slightly muddy memories of singing along with The Killers and dancing with friends in rather damp fields.
Even though I’m not heading over there this year, it’s always fun to play with festival-ready looks, and one of my favourite acquisitions has to be Urban Decay’s Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Distortion. It’s perfect if you want to update your regular makeup looks, and Distortion is just the prettiest, fairy-dust shade imaginable.
Since Distortion is quite a subtle way to wear glitter, I love it if I’m heading out for early evening drinks as it adds a little something without feeling like I’m trying too hard. I usually wear it along with a subtle taupe-eye so it doesn’t look too obvious. Instead, using the super-fine brush applicator, I get a super fine line of glitter which glitters and glimmers in the light. It’s incredibly pretty and the effect lasts all evening without fading away.
Urban Decay’s Heavy Metal Eyeliner in Distortion is priced at £14.00 and is available here and here.
