Smashbox LA Lights Blendable Lip & Cheek Color – Beverly Hills Blush*

Smashbox LA Lights Beverly Hills Blush

When I’m talking to friends about makeup and all things beauty, and even when I’m examining my own (rather too extensive stash) one product that I never get too excited about is blusher. I’ve got a few favourites that I rotate between, and that’s pretty much that. When Smashbox’s gorgeous new LA Lights Blendable Lip & Cheek Colour in Beverly Hills Blush came through the door though, all bets were off!

Packaged in a tidy little crayon-eque tube, LA Lights Blendable Lip & Cheek Colors are designed to give you a natural looking West Coast glow, and who doesn’t want a piece of that? There are 9 blush tones and a champagne highlighter to choose from, so the shades will definitely suit a wide variety of skin tones, from the palest through the to richest colours.

Beverly Hills Blush is a gorgeous peachy pink which has a wash of golden shimmer running through it. It’s a great alternative to NARS’ iconic Orgasm, as it gives my complexion a natural looking warmth and glow.

I’ve been using the LA Lights Blendable Lip & Cheek Color after applying my foundation and concealer. I simply dash a little formula onto the apples of my cheeks, and then blend upwards. It looks incredible natural, and it’s an absolute breeze to apply! Unlike some other gel or cream blushes that I’ve tried in the past, Smashbox have created one which gives a wash of lightweight colour.

There is even a little latex sponge on the other end so you can apply on the go! It’s a genius little product, and it’s multi use too! Smashbox recommend using the LA Lights on your lips, and I love how it makes your whole look feel really cohesive. Beverly Hills Blush is a gorgeous lip stain if you’re looking for one of those elusive YLBB shades.

Smashbox LA Lights Blendable Lip & Cheek Color is priced at £25.00 and is available here (UK) and here (US)
