When you are planning your wedding, there are all sorts of different things that you could have for it. You might want to have the whole day be a lavish affair, or just have some luxe touches here and there. There are lots of different things that you can do, to add a bit of Hollywood glamour to your wedding. Pinterest is full of lots of shabby-chic style weddings. They look cute, but they don’t exactly scream glamourous. So if you are looking for something a little more stylish, then there are plenty of ideas out there to help you. Here are just a few of those ideas to get you inspired.
Garden Style Ceremony
If you are going to have your wedding in an indoor location, why not bring the outdoors inside? You could create a whimsical garden feel by adding plenty of flower arrangements and foliage. You could create an arch by the altar, including things like ivy wound around it all. You could have some small trees in planters dotted around, including a few twinkly fairy lights. How about a flower wall to decorate too? If it is good enough for Kim and Kanye, right?
Small Touches
Having some small touches that have a luxe feel, with add subtle elements of luxury to your wedding. Wedding stationery is an easy win when it comes to subtlety. Your guests will see the stationery right from the invite, so it is good to get it just right. Then you can have things like luxe style table name cards for your reception, as well as stylish order of service cards for the ceremony. If they all have a similar theme and go for the same colours then you know it will work well together. Think about having the font be in metallic, or having some metallic colour blocking as part of the design, to add more glam. You could even go for some jewelled stationery.
Extravagant Table Centrepieces
When you walk into the wedding reception, you want people to be amazed at how good it looks. One of the best ways to do that is to wow with the table centrepieces. The room can be quite plain and neutral in terms of decoration. Just add the glam and luxe in small ways, rather than ‘in your face.’ Getting some candelabras for centrepieces is such a stunning look. Fill them with candles of course and they add lighting too. To make them extra special, how about having your florist arrange flowers around the candelabras? If they are covered in flowers, it looks so striking, especially if you have quite a monochromatic colour scheme for the wedding.
Pillar centrepieces give off the most striking look. So even if you just choose some long vases that you fill with flowers, it will look better than low down and smaller vases. You could cascade crystals down the centrepiece vase too. It would give it a gorgeous look for a luxe winter wedding, in particular.
