I can’t quite believe we’ve already hit September, as this year is really screaming by, and since it feels like autumn is just around the corner, I thought it was right to share a great perfume for this time of year.
Described as ‘a fruity floral fragrance with an unconventional boyish twist’ Hugo Boss’ Hugo Woman is the perfect in-between seasons scent thanks to the base notes of Sandalwood, Cedarwood and Amber which give a real sense of warmth and depth to the scent.
Packaged in a super chic round bottle with red accents, Hugo Woman is definitely an eye catching scent, and I love how easy it is to wear. When I apply it in the morning, post-shower, the top notes of Mandarin and Boysenberry feel incredibly fresh and uplifting to apply. They’re the perfect kick start for early mornings! Then, once the perfume warms up on skin, the heart notes of Jasmine Sambac, Black Plum, Iris, and Black tea become more prominent, and feel super pretty and sophisticated on the skin. Hugo Woman wears quite close to the skin on me, so I love getting a whiff of it on my wrists and inner elbows. It also smells amazing when I spray a little on the base of my neck, so if I get a bit hot and flustered, my hair suddenly smells great! As the day goes on, the warming base notes of Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Amber become more prominent, making the perfume feel incredibly sophisticated.
