In case it’s not incredibly obvious, I’m pretty much head over heels for Urban Decay’s awesome new brow products. In addition to their Brow Tamer gel (review here) Brow Beater pencils have also been released.
Packaged in super sleek metallic purple, the Brow Beater pencils are available in four shades encompassing taupe and three browns, so I imagine that most brows are going to be well catered for. The formula twists up, so you don’t need to bother with blunt points and sharpeners, and the opposite ends also come complete with a spooley brush to make sure your brows are in order.
I was very kindly sent Taupe and Warm Brown to try out, and I have to say, I love them! The formula itself is quite firm, so creating natural-looking definition is incredibly easy. To use them, I first brush my brows upward, then get to work filling them in with the Taupe Brow Beater. I use short, dash-like strokes to create a natural look, and once I’m satisfied, I brush my brows again with the spooley so that the colour doesn’t look too stark. To finish, I then brush the Brow Tamer over my brows so they stay put.
