The very idea of purple eyeliner sounds a little ‘out there’ for someone whose makeup palette is as neutral as mine. On a daily basis I tend to favour sooty blacks and dark browns, but Clarins’ Crayon Khol in 10 True Violet is an absolute beauty!
I absolutely adore Clarins’ Crayon Khols. They have quite a dry texture, and an amazing colour payoff! To use, I simply swipe the pencil along the inside of my upper waterline, and I’m good to go! 10 True Violet is a surprisingly neutral and flattering colour to choosing, and I’ve been reaching for it daily! The cool tone of the Crayon Khol makes eyes look bright and alert, and the colour is dark enough to give the perfect amount of definition.
As if the Crayon Khol isn’t perfect enough, I’m obsessed with the little bristle brush which is on the opposite end of the pencil. Unlike the usual useless spongy tips most beauty companies include, the brush means it’s incredibly easy to blend out the liner. It’s a complete god-send on days when I’m getting ready at the gym and I’ve forgotten an eyeshadow – all I need to do is draw a little on my lids, then blend away. Perfect!
Clarins’ Crayon Khol in 10 True Violet is priced at £17 and are available here (UK) and here (US)
