Charcoal really seems to be the ingredient du jour at the moment. I own everything from black kojac sponges to face masks, and my most exotic product might just be Diamond White’s new Black Edition.
Packaged in a simple black, screw top jar, Diamond Whites’ Black Edition is just about the craziest dental product that I’ve ever tried.
Composed from 100% activated coconut shell charcoal, Diamond Whites’ Black edition is designed to not only whiten teeth, but also strengthen gums as well as remove toxins and bacteria from the mouth. For such a seemingly simple product it’s a lot to ask!
To use the Black Edition, all you need to do is dip a dampened toothbrush in the powder and get to work! It might just be the messiest toothpaste I’ve ever tried! For the first minute or so, I looked like something out of a horror film – my entire mouth was an inky black; but as I brushed away, it turned grey. I spent a good 5 minutes brushing and swilling away, and it was completely worth it! I could see that my teeth were a brighter white than before, and my teeth felt like they had been professionally cleaned – they were super, super smooth! Since the charcoal is completely natural, so there isn’t any flavouring, and it was surprisingly easy to wash away!
