So I think that it’s safe to say that I have the self control of a gnat whenever I pass by the Chanel counter. There’s something about the shiny counters and the black lacquered goodies which have me weak at the knees, and when I saw there were new products out this weekend, I thought it would be silly not to treat myself!
The new shade 673 Singuliere was too stunning to leave behind! In the bottle the varnish looks like it’s a rich, creamy raspberry, and I don’t have a single polish like it!
Even though I’ve sometimes struggled with Chanel’s formulas (they’re never the longest lasting) I really do think the brand produce the most wonderful shades. 673 Singuliere is one of two polishes which have been released at part of the 2015 Rouge Allure Collection.
I’m just in love with the colour of Singuliere, although in the bottle it looks like it would be quite a bright berry shade, on the nail it transforms into a stunning rich wine shade with an almost jelly consistency.
I used two coats for optimum coverage and to deepen the colour, and I have to say, it’s really stunning! Rather thank looking like a blacked red or plum, Singuliere is a true wine shade which feels perfect to wear right now. Rather than falling straight into my inky polishes, Singuliere offers a wonderful midpoint. It’s dark enough to look sophisticated and seasonal on my nails, but it doesn’t feel too bright or summery! I’ll get a proper swatch up when my new nail wheels arrive, but rest assured – it’s gorgeous!
