A few weeks ago, I thought it would be fun to ‘mix up’ my look a little. I’ve been getting blonde highlights for years, and I thought it would be fun to try something different, so I opted for balayage. To say it didn’t work out was a bit of an understatement, and for the past couple of weeks, I’ve been babying my hair to really get it in good as condition as possible for fixing it earlier this week. This means I had to forgo my beloved straighteners, but thankfully, Bumble & Bumble came to my rescue with their awesome Don’t Blow It styling creme.
To use the product is incredibly easy to use – after shampooing and conditioning as normal, I mist a little of the Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser’s Oil Primer (see review here) through my entire hair, and then I comb through the (H)air Styler through the lengths and ends. The formula is super light, and smells incredible – very fresh and clean which delicate scents my hair, I love it!
After applying the (H)Air Styler, I jest brush through my lengths, then I twirl my ends into ropes. Shaping the ends gives my naturally wavy hair some body, and keeps them looking neat. I then can get on with getting ready as my hair dries naturally. Rather than ending up with an absolute bush of fuzz, Bumble & Bumble’s Don’t Blow It leaves my hair looking and feeling super soft, and it calms my hair into naturally tousled waves. It’s such a life saver for keeping hair looking great without having to resort to heat styling, and I love the chic, natural volume that the (H)Air Styler gives. For days I want to wear my hair with a little texture and wave, I don’t think I’ve got a better styling product!
