Now that we’re in the real the run-up to Christmas, I’m sure you’ve been consumed with thoughts on what to buy your nearest and dearest. So, I’m here to seriously encourage to take an afternoon, treat yourself, and perhaps pop into Jo Malone to sniff one of the brand’s newest scents – Mimosa and Cardamom.
The new perfume is a wonderfully warm and comforting scent, which mixes notes of Cardamom, Mimosa and Tonka Bean. It’s a really great scent to wear on the cold and grey days we’ve been having as although it smells very clean and fresh (a must for my favourite perfumes) it also has an exoticism which is really beautiful.
The wear-time of the cologne is really great – a few spritzes in the morning keep my smelling lovely for a good five to six hours. I really like how understated and unusual Mimosa & Cardamom is, and if you’re into layering perfumes, I would definitely try it with the English Pear and Freesia cologne.
