As you can probably tell, I’m loving injecting a little colour into my makeup with a variety of coloured balms. For days when I feel a little more daring than usual, I’ve been turning to Sisley’s gorgeous Phyto Lip Twist in 06 Cherry.
Packaged in the brand’s signature zebra stripes, it’s a gorgeous little product to turn to when I fancy a little bit of a change of look. Thanks to the Lip Twist’s pointed tip and crayon-like packaging, application is an absolute breeze. I don’t need to worry about finding a lip liner, despite the bright colour since it’s so precise. I also don’t need to worry about keeping a sharpener handy, as the colour simply twists up whenever I need it.
The formula of the Lip Twist is complete perfection – it feels like a light balm on the lips, and delivers the prettiest pop of colour. I absolutely adore how easy it is to build up colour depending on where I’m off to. For days where I just want a wash of sheer blue-toned colour, a single swipe of the Lip Twist is enough, but if I want a more saturated, glossy pout, I just need a couple of layers. Wear time for the colour is good – I get two to three hours of glossy wear, and unlike a lot of saturated lipsticks I’ve used, Sisley’s feels super hydrating and nourishing.
