I’m sure I’m not the only person who can’t wait for summer, but the longer nights and (slightly) warmer temperatures make it feel like it’s finally on it’s way! So, in something of a celebration, I’ve been turning to Michael Kors’ new scent – Coral.
Packaged in a slick orange bottle, Coral is described as ‘Fresh, Bold and Fabulous,’and to be honest, I couldn’t agree more. When I first tried the perfume, it just felt like summer in a bottle, and I love how the fruity and floral notes mingle.
When first applied, you get a huge hit of citrus-y freshness. There are notes of Grapefruit, Mandarin, and Lemon which are complemented by a subtle touch of Pink Peppercorn. The heart notes of Jasmine, Tuberose and Orange Blossom give the perfume a really beautiful sense of grown-up luxury, whilst keeping it feeling soapy fresh. Then, as the day continues, the base notes of Cedar and Sandalwood, with a touch of Musk give the scent a feeling of richness and warmth. Coral is just the perfect summer scent!
