I’m not sure there is anything prettier than a tree full of blossom. The pink blooms always remind me of summer terms at school, where we would sneak off during breaks to buy ice lollies and paddle in the river, trickling back to class damp and slightly sunburned, giddy from the adventure.
Even though I feel like we’re in full on summer-mode now, my garden has only just started to blossom, so, even though everyone else’s garden is in flower, my little trees are laden with pink. So, it felt like the perfect time to break into Burberry’s stunning Full Kisses lipstick in No. 509 Cherry Blossom.
Packaged in a super sleek graphite bullet, No. 509 Cherry Blossom is one of 14 shades currently available. It’s a stunning warm-tone pink which feels absolutely perfect for summertime use.
The bullet of the lipstick is quite heavily chiselled in shape, which means it’s super easy to apply precisely, direct from the bullet. The formula itself is dreamy – it feels rich and balmy on the lips, and it leaves a glossy wash of colour in a single swipe.
It’s also wonderfully easy to build up the colour. For casually days out, I can slick on a little for a glossy baby pink finish, or, if I’m in the mood for something a bit more intense, a couple of coats gives a wonderful rosy pout. The Full Kisses lipsticks are such a great everyday choice since they’re so comfortable to wear, and even once the gloss has worn off, my lips stay stained for a good few hours.
Burberry Full Kisses Lipstick in No. 509 Cherry Blossom is priced at £24.00 and is available here.
