So I’m not sure that I could be any more more obsessed with glowy skin at the moment. I’ve been knee deep in highlighters and bronzers for weeks, experimenting with what’s best for my skin type and tone.
When I caught sight of Jane Iredale’s stunning Moonglow bronzer, I knew I had to try it. It comes in an add-on golden compact which feels rather glamorous when I catch sight of it in my makeup bag (although it does attract fingerprints like nothing else). Inside though, is where is gets really good. Jane Iredale have combined four shades which can either be swirled together to create a glowing bronzer shade, or they can be used individually as highlighters and eyeshadows.
The powders themselves are shimmering perfection. They feel buttery smooth, and the colour payoff is beautiful. Not only that, but the shades are easy to build, which is perfect if you’re using them on your eyes. The bottom taupe brown shade is really beautiful worn swept over the lid. It gives eyes a shimmering, subtle definition which doesn’t look too try-hard. The top two shades are my perfect highlight too! The mix of golden and pearl pink give a natural-looking radiance to skin which doesn’t look glittery or sparkly.
All together the shades mix to form a stunning warm shimmering bronze. I’m too pale to use it all over, but a light dusting over cheekbones gives a believable glow. I can’t wait to get a little more bronzed so I can dust a little Moonglow over my shoulders and clavicles – it’s a wonderful way to cheat perfect summer skin!
Jane Iredale Moonglow Bronzer is priced at £39.95 and is available here.
Wow! Everything from the packaging to the actual bronzer looks gorgeous 🙂
