Last week, I shared some of my favourite bronzers, so I thought that it might be helpful to go into a little bit more depth about why I chose the three out of the literally hundreds of bronzers I’ve tried. Sisley’s Phyto-Touche Illusion D’Ete Bronzing powder might be the most glamorous makeup product I’ve ever tried!
As if the chic silver packaging wasn’t pretty enough, I genuinely gasped when I popped the compact open. The bronzer is shaped to look like sunbeams, and it just shimmers and glows in the light. It looks like nothing else I’ve seen before, and the formula is just a dream too! Rather than being a regular powder, Sisley’s bronzer is a gel hybrid, meaning it just glides onto skin, feels absolutely weightless, and looks incredibly natural.
It’s a universal golden shade, which Sisley have designed to work with all skin tones, and depending on how much you want to use, it can give a seriously natural just-in-from-the beach glow, all the way through to a serious tan. It leaves skin with a beautiful sheen that means I don’t even need to think about highlighter. Even better than the stunning finish (which lasts well into the evenings) is the fact that the powder is enriched with extracts of Gardenia, Mallow and Linden Blossom for softness and comfort.
