When it comes to perfumes, on a day-to-day basis, I just want to smell good. I’m not too fussy about what I wear (I usually opt for crowd-favourite Jo Malone Orange Blossom) but I’m aware that I don’t want anything too over powering. So when Roger & Gallet’s The Vert eau de toilette popped through the door I was seriously intrigued.
I adore my Creed‘s Asian Green Tea Cologne, and I’m happy to say that this is almost a dupe of the premium scent. When first applied it has a wonderful, aqueous quality which smells perfectly fresh and cooling. Then the hints of green tea become more noticeable. It’s almost unisex in it’s freshness, and it’s perfect for spritzing on throughout the day, as it never feels like it’s too much or too heavy.
Instead, it’s a refreshing mist of green which works equally well in the autumn as it does in sunny weather. And, as you probably can tell, I’m a bit of a fan! I’ve already popped out to grab a few of the soaps as it’s so wonderfully fresh smelling!
Everyone who I’ve talked about it with is absolutely obsessed with it, and almost better than the to-die-for scent it how affordable it is! Like all Roger & Gallet products I tried, it feels incredibly luxurious to use, but doesn’t break the bank!
Roger & Gallet The Vert is priced at £32 and is available here
