To be honest, as much as I adore the packaging Benefit produces, I’ve never really fallen in love with any of their products. The glosses I’ve tried are always too bright and too harsh for my colouring, and their iconic issues like High Beam just aren’t my style.
What I have adored though, is their High Brow pencil. Designed to make arches look cleaner and more defined, I’ve been using the original for years as a way to brighten the inner corner of my eyes. It’s an easy little trick which makes me look far more awake than I feel, so, when the brand revamped their entire brow collection and introduced this golden version I knew I had to give it a go!
Packaged to look like a silver magic wand, I’m pleased to say, it works the same magic as the original. Every morning, after applying my concealer, foundation and bronzer like normal, I add a little of the High Brow Glow to the inner corners of my eyes, and under the arch of my brows.
Despite having quite a firm texture, this isn’t too shiny or at all glittery. Instead it just adds a believable glow to the face, making it look like I’ve been mainlining green juice!
Benefit High Brow Glow is priced at £17.50 and is available here (UK) and here (US)
