I’m not going to lie – I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Juicy Couture. I indulged in a couple of their iconic sweatpants back in the day, and seeing there beauty offerings get more and more popular has made me rather nostalgic.
Packaged in pink and leopard, it’s super cute, and this would make a seriously impressive Christmas present.
The bottle is just as cute, and it feels like it was absolutely made to be displayed on your dressing table! The scent inside is just as fun as the packaging – the mix of fruity and almost herbal notes create a scent that feels super unusual, and whenever I wear it, at least three people ask what I’ve got on!
The top notes of I Love Juicy Couture are definitely the fruitiest and juciest. A mix of Mandarin Orange, Candy Apple and Red Currant are sweet and succulent. It’s a beautifully light entrance into the fragrance, and it feels almost summery. Then as the perfume settles, the heart notes of Tyger Lily, Honeysuckle and Jasmine become more prominent. As someone who just adores white flowers in perfume, this is right up my alley!
Then, after a few hours, the base notes of Patchouli, Musk and Amber become more noticeable. It’s warming and rich, and feels super decadent to wear. I love the perfume for winter evenings out, and I’ve already bought two friends a bottle for Christmas!
