Urban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation*

Happy Friday! We’ve made it to the end of the first week of the year, and I’m not sure about you, but I’m more than ready for the weekend! So, in something of a celebration, I thought I would share an awesome foundation, which might just be your go-to choice for 2017.

As you might expect from the name, Urban Decay’s All Nighter foundation promises a ‘modern matte’ finish which is seriously long lasting. Whenever a brand promises both matte and long-lasting, I do worry about them being drying, but thankfully, Urban Decay’s offering just leaves skin looking flawless all night long!

There are an incredible 24 shades to choose from, and I love how much choice there is. I opted to try two of the palest shades, as I’m rocking something of a winter complexion. 0.5 is the palest of the pale, and it’s pretty much spot on for me at the moment. With soft yellow undertones, it cuts through any redness I want to cover, and it really does make skin look flawless all evening.

Shade 1.0 is a touch pinker in tone, but it generally quite a neutral shade. If I need a touch of extra colour, I can mix it 50/50 with 0.5, and this is probably the shade I’ll be reaching for in the spring. What I love about the All Nighter Foundation, is the complete lack of oxidisation of the formula. There’s no turning orange by noon, and my face doesn’t feel tight or sticky at any point!

Urban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation is priced at £27 and is available here (UK) and here (US)

Ooooh I’m intrigued! I’m thinking about giving this a try! Does it have good coverage? And does it make your face shiny?

      Hi Louise,

Oh you definitely should! I would say it’s pretty high coverage, but it leaves skin looking satin-y not shiny if that makes sense?

Let me know if you try it! xxx
