If you’re anything like me, you’ll have a cupboard full of face masks which detox, clear skin and treat blackheads. They’re all about cleansing and exfoliation, rather than pampering the skin, so it felt like perfect timing when Skin sent over the gorgeous Hydrating Facial Masque. With a formula fortified with mango seed oil and avocado oil, it’s an easy way to add a dose of moisture to winter skin.
Packaged in a simple screw top jar, Sukin’s Hydrating Facial Masque is an absolute joy to use, and I’ve slotted into my skin care regime seamlessly, using it once or twice per week, or whenever my skin is feeling a little fried. After cleansing, or even after a cleansing mask, I simply pat my skin dry, then pat a couple of finger-fulls onto my face, neck and décolletage.
The masque is wonderfully cooling and soothing, and feels like a rich moisturiser to apply. Depending on how dried out my skin is feeling, I tissue off the excess after half an hour or so, or, if my skin is absolutely arched, I leave it on overnight. The difference in my skin the next morning is visible – it’s softer, smoother, and feels far healthier to the touch. I also feel like I need less foundation, and that’s always a good thing!
